citizens serving citizens.
One of the most impactful things that anyone can do is simply volunteering. If it's for just a few hours a week, your time can help to change the community we live in. The WCSO is now accepting applications to serve in many areas of law enforcement including, but not limited to:
-assisting the clerical divisions
-helping with search and rescue operations
-establishing neighborhood watch programs
-serving at substations
-boosting LEO presence at local events and festivities
-victim advocacy services
-assistance at programs like the Women's Self Defense course and others
-riding with deputies on patrol (see reserve program qualifications)
This program is rapidly growing, so put your name in the hat, and let's make our Walker County a little better each day!
